An environmental group has issued a ‘Call to Arms’ targeting the Government’s newly published Housing and Planning and Development Bill 2019, recently opened for Public Consultation. The Bill, which imposes restrictions on citizens bringing Judicial Reviews of planning decisions, has been in part triggered by delays in the planning system leading to the withdrawal of plans for Apple at Athenry and the referral to the European Court of Justice of the US New Fortress Energy Shannon LNG terminal as well as a number of cases taken by environmental campaigner Peter Sweetman. read full story / add a comment

The ongoing coup (via a Color Revolution) in Bolivia to overthrow the democratically elected government and clearly instigated by the US is yet another sad example of how the lives of millions of people are cynically destroyed. But an not so surprising fact has come to light. Bolivia has probably the worlds largest reserves of Lithium now the new "oil" of this age and President Morales recently signed an agreement with China to mine this. This is the reason the US has struck now. Here is a report from RT on the ongoing situation. Questions remain about the circumstances that led to Morales’ ouster, and whether foreign governments played a role in it. Yesterday, the governor of the Paris military district told France Info that soldiers of the Operation Sentinel counter-terror mission had been authorized to fire today on the “yellow vests.” Asked about whether soldiers were capable of carrying out law enforcement duties, General Bruno Le Ray replied: “Our orders are sufficiently clear that we do not need to be worried at all. Investigative Journalist and ex presidential candidate Gemma O'Doherty has become the subject of a campaign of google censorship like many others recently who dissent from the status quo. Gemma, however did not take this lying down. She took it straight to google HQ Support Gemma in her fight against google censorship. This blog, my first, will in general aim to document the program and specifically my experiences on JobPath. Protecting their identities you will meet the other job seekers and staff, will there be villains and hero’s or stale biscuits and tea? The blog will be anonymous because I’m not sure how DSP or Seetec will feel about the real time, real person, review. Why do a blog, I feel that it gives a window for the 115,000 people who will be invited to the mandatory scheme over the full 4+2 years. JobPath is discussed by politicians, by journalist and even on public forums, the vast majority of whom only get the opportunity to view from the outside in and so only see things from a superficial vantage point. My time embedded or if you like immersed in the scheme, gives a personal and unique opportunity to document my experience and is allowing me the privilege of blogging from the inside out. It requires some intrusion into my life and maybe some repetitive reading, it will require some commitment from myself and the thought of possible consequences leave me a little unhinged. However difficult it is personally, hopefully it will serve the purpose of shedding light on the truth in a way that turning up with a press pass or in a Ministerial car, never could do. In November 2018, I received a second ‘invitation’ that I couldn’t refuse to do another 52 weeks of JobPath. Considering the amount of people who viewed the blog from all corners of the planet and the participants that the blog helped, along with the number of people who contact me for and offering me help, I’m going to do another 52 weeks of blogging under JobPath two. Ireland has just been identified as one of the most unequal countries in the EU regarding access to healthcare according to a joint report by TASC, FEPS and Trinity College.
“Without health and social measures that compensate for poor health, individuals are not able to fully participate in political and social life. The great importance of health is related to its value to all other life spheres. Not only do individuals have a right to health and well-being, but they also have manifold individual rights that are constrained in the case of poor health.
