It's not often, in fact never that Indymedia agrees with Michael O’Leary but in this case we do because the whole pandemic is a hoax. Now some people might think this now means that we agree with everything he had ever said, is saying and will ever say in the future. And it is not. We value our freedom and liberty first and foremost rather than submit to police state controls which have been clearly laid out. We don't agree that if Micheal O'Leary says lift the lockdown then we must automatically say the opposite but that is how people will expect us to think. However given this pandemic is a hoax it means the forces at work are far far bigger than Micheal O'Leary so he is not likely to get his way. In fact the era of tourism for the masses may have come to abrupt permanent end last March for all we know. read full story / add a comment

Now that the lockdown has been secured and people have been convinced of all the manipulation and lies and the police state measures have been accepted, it is very hard to overturn these in peoples mind and for them to accept the whole reason for economic suicide has largely been a hoax. It is therefore safe for the mainstream media to publish more truthful information and some of them are doing. The reason is because they will be able to say they did -eventually -publish the facts if anything should go wrong -that is resistance against the police state and the second reason is because it will make little difference at this stage since the objectives of phase 1 of the global police state have been achieved. So it is with this that Bloomberg is now telling us what those you have been paying attention already know and that is the Covid poster child of Europe -Italy that 96% of all the virus deaths suffered from other illness and were already dying. read full story / add a comment ![]()

With the current rush to fast-track a vaccine that will supposedly stop the Coronavirus, it is important to look at some of the history of vaccines, especially ones developed to supposedly stop viruses. Perhaps one of the most deadly and dangerous vaccines to ever hit the market in the U.S. is the Gardasil vaccine which supposedly targets a virus that is thought to cause cancer, the human papillomavirus (HPV). read full story / add a comment

REGRET have managed through Dail questioning to get the actual figures on the adverse affects of the HPV vaccines and the results have been shocking. This is despite the government deriding the REGRET campaign and Minister Harris along with the HSE continuously push a message of total safety for the HPV vaccine, dismissing families of healthy girls who became seriously ill after the vaccination in our calls for an investigation – in a campaign of public derision. We trusted the authorities who told us it was a safe vaccine, and they abandoned us when what happened to our children didn't fit their message. read full story / add a comment ![]()

![]() ![]() The weekend just gone by in the UK was a bank holiday weekend and the weather was really good. Millions of UK citizens fed up with the lunatic lockdown defied the authorities and were out in parks, beaches and on the streets in their droves. There were so many the police gave up trying to impose it. Even some pubs here and there opened up and people sat out enjoying the sun and having a pint. All the pubs should open rather than commit economic suicide and they should ask their customers to defend them. Up to that point the UK government message was Stay At Home. Today when many people returned to work it is reckoned the numbers up back to the near 70% to 80% of normal. Some of the London tubes were packed and nobody dropped dead as a result. This morning media figures including many celebrity figures were stunned and wondered what was going on while many who had stuck rigidly to the rules realized they have been fooled and lied to in the past 6 to 8 weeks. read full story / add a comment

This page will contain updates and tips on how to stay health and any known measures to boost the immune system and help prevent getting ill from Covid if you are in he vulnerable group.
The key advice though is to boost your immune system by taking Vitamin C and Zinc. Vitamin D which can be generated by your body's skin in sunshine is also very good and is well known to protect. Getting outdoors into fresh air and walking, hiking or swimming are all also excellent ways to improve your immunity. Eating good nutritious food rather than junk food is another important component of boosting your immune system. read full story / add a comment

Invasive Australian flatworm reaches west Cork Sellers of plants should warn public of dangers of contaminated garden matter The invasive Australian flatworm has reached the Beara peninsula in west Cork. Flatworms from New Zealand were first recorded in Ireland in the 1960’s but the Australian flatworm was not recorded until 1981. Flatworms are top-level predators of soil organisms. They eat earthworms and appear to have met no natural enemies of their own in Ireland. According to the National Biodiversity Centre, the implications of its indefinite spread for the drainage and fertility of our soil ‘pose a threat to Ireland’s biodiversity and economy’. Japanese knotweed and the zebra mussels are examples of invasive species now out of control in Ireland. read full story / add a comment

130 national and international groups have today written to all Irish Party leaders requesting them to remove support for fracked gas infrastructure in Ireland. The letter comes as negotiations for Government intensify and requests an explicit policy statement to be included in the next Programme for Government against the development of all new fossil fuel infrastructure in the form of LNG import terminals that could facilitate the entry of unconventional fracked gas into the Irish energy mix. Two fracked gas terminals, or - LNG - terminals are currently proposed, in Shannon and Cork. The terminals would be developed as import hubs, allowing fracked gas into the European market from the USA where there is currently an oversupply of this controversial fuel. The terminals would play an important role in the shale gas supply chain, the market for which is currently very unstable. read full story / add a comment

![]() ![]() Never before in the history of the world has there been such a massive and widespread shutdown of the economy for as long as for this Covid-19 scare. As of today April 21st it has been more or less shutdown for a month and the politicians instead of doing their usual and saying we will be out of this soon are saying we need to continue it indefinitely and even when the lockdown is lifted, it will only be gradual return to normality. Clearly everyone is worried and a lot depends on how long this lockdown continues for. The question is not whether the economy both here in Ireland and globally will be damaged but more by how much. This is an important question because real lives depend on what happens in it Here we attempt to assess where we are, what has happened and what logic dictates are some of the possible outcomes. read full story / add a comment

Shannonwatch are appalled at the continuing use of Shannon Airport by US military troop carriers, despite the issuing of a stop movement order to the US military by US Defence Secretary Mark Esper on March 25th. This was intended to halt travel and movement abroad for up to 60 days in an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus. However, troop carriers have been landing at Shannon as recently as April 10th, 11th and 12th. “We are astonished that in these times of national emergency, our leaders continue to permit the landing of foreign troops at Shannon Airport” said Shannonwatch spokesperson John Lannon. “Facilitating the movement of troops half way across the world to invade and occupy other countries is never good. But now more than ever it is absolutely unconscionable and unacceptable.” read full story / add a comment

The Covid-19 global health crisis is one that required a global response led by health workers but with the consensus of almost everyone. Instead we face a piecemeal response, often in the form of repressive policing solutions that are not even particularly effective and where the borders between the states have undermined collective action and allowed the virus to multiply in the gaps. Fear has led many to wish for harder state clampdowns as if a policing apparatus had any hope for substituting for collective solidarity between neighbours. The very ideology of neoliberal capitalism and its mantra of everyone looking after themselves has cut into the sort of community solidarity essential to popular enforcement of physical distancing. Thankfully in Ireland we discovered this process was not complete and a sufficient sense of solidarity remained that almost everyone implemented physical distancing measures before the state backed that process. read full story / add a comment |
