Below is a statement released by the Maynooth Schools Group this morning. We are having a public meeting tonight (2nd December) to formally commence the campaign to reject the two school model that the Minister and KWETB plan to implement in Maynooth. The Maynooth Schools Group met last night and have reviewed all that has happened to date regarding the new school in Maynooth. Offered a place on a postgrad course unable to continue due to budget 2012. no job no hope and no independant money to do the masters. Kildare Conty Council has ruled that communications antennae and other equipment adjacent to a junior primary school are "exempt development" following a six-month delay. Antennae were placed at the side of a hotel over several years without planning permission. The most recent installation included two cabinets, antennae and trunked cabling which was installed to go over the roof. The 280 children at Scoil San Carlo, Confy, Leixlip are being exposed to numerous signals. The invitation extended to the Queen of England to visit the Punchestown racing festival is part of a campaign of “creeping Anglicisation” with the purpose of normalising British rule in Ireland, Kildare Republican Sinn Féin said in a statement.
