What we have seen in Starmer since July is a petty, inhumane, almost spiteful man who considers himself morally superior to the mass of humanity. This, says Dr David McGrogan, was confirmed in spades yesterday.

Green Isle Ten Weeks On!

Through strong wind and heavy rain, over one hundred protesters marched through the centre of Naas today. The protesters gathered at the assembly point beside the Osprey hotel on the Newbridge road, lead by a pipe band and made their way through main street Naas at 2pm. The march was lead down Wolfe Tone Street and back up to the Town Hall in the centre of the Town.

Republican Network for Unity were joined at the protest by other political groupings including, Republican Sinn Fein, the Socialist Workers Party and Eirigi. Some of Irelands Largest Unions were also in attendance, SIPTU and the T.E.EU who supported the rally. Also in attendance were Kildare Trade Unions and politicians such as Emmett Stagg and Joe Higgins of the Socialist Party.

Leading figures from all Trade Unions spoke at the steps of the Town Hall in solidarity with the injustice these workers are facing. Republican Network for Unity in Kildare would like to take this opportunity to state our delight at the unity shown at this event today as it will be much needed in the weeks, months ahead.
R.N.U will continue to stand with these workers at the Green Isle Factory on a weekly basis and urge all groups Republican or otherwise to join us in this struggle for justice.
