Jordan Peterson should make his mind up about Christianity, critics say. Prof James Alexander disagrees: he's a profound Jungian explorer who wants to help a secularised world see why Christianity still matters.

Mark Zuckerberg's repudiation of Covid-era censorship is welcome. But it's not enough, say Josh Stylman and Jeffrey Tucker. Without a public reckoning they will just do it all again when a cause seems urgent enough.

Joe Higgins Final Election Broadcast - 2 Reasons to Vote Joe Higgins No.1

category dublin | politics / elections | news report author Thursday June 04, 2009 12:05author by Joe Higgins.eu - Socialist Partyauthor email info at joehiggins dot eu Report this post to the editors

Vote for Joe Higgins & the Socialist Party in the Local and Dubin Euro Elections on Friday

This is the final election broadcast of Joe Higgins, who is standing for the Euro elections in Dublin, with a chance of beating Fianna Fail's Eoin Ryan, and winning a seat.

In the video Joe summarizes why he wants people to vote for the Socialist Party in the Euro & Local elections.

He focuses on two key messages:

1) Wipe out Fianna Fail.
These elections provide people with a unique opportunity for us to wipe Fianna Fail off of Dublin's political landscape, in the Euro elections at least. We can strike a blow against the entire political establishment, who are only looking out for the bankers and speculators.

2) Elect fighters for workers, young people and the unemployed.
We need real fighter for working people in the councils, the Dail and in Europe. If elected, Joe will be a Workers' MEP on a workers wage, as he was in the Dail. Joe will use the platform to fight the cuts and attacks on workers rights and public services, and fight for socialist policies to tackle the economic crisis.

A short and to the point message, though obviously more information is available on our website, linked to below.

He'll do what it says on the label. What you vote for is what you get. And boo to the timeservers and speakers with forked tongues.

Go for it Joe . In Europe we need austerities applied elsewhere than in the field of workers and working conditions. Badly organised public services leave the door wide open to far-reaching privatisation.
