Invasive Australian flatworm reaches west Cork Sellers of plants should warn public of dangers of contaminated garden matter The invasive Australian flatworm has reached the Beara peninsula in west Cork. Flatworms from New Zealand were first recorded in Ireland in the 1960’s but the Australian flatworm was not recorded until 1981. Flatworms are top-level predators of soil organisms. They eat earthworms and appear to have met no natural enemies of their own in Ireland. According to the National Biodiversity Centre, the implications of its indefinite spread for the drainage and fertility of our soil ‘pose a threat to Ireland’s biodiversity and economy’. Japanese knotweed and the zebra mussels are examples of invasive species now out of control in Ireland. read full story / add a comment

On April 18th Clare Daly highlight the hypocritical actions of the government where they had imposed a severe lockdown everyone and closed many businesses because of their concern to stop the spread of Covid. Yet in the middle of all this they flew in hundreds of workers from Bulgaria to work for a company that has had very favourable treatment from Fine Gael. Her statement appeared on her facebook page and received many comments. 130 national and international groups have today written to all Irish Party leaders requesting them to remove support for fracked gas infrastructure in Ireland. The letter comes as negotiations for Government intensify and requests an explicit policy statement to be included in the next Programme for Government against the development of all new fossil fuel infrastructure in the form of LNG import terminals that could facilitate the entry of unconventional fracked gas into the Irish energy mix. Two fracked gas terminals, or - LNG - terminals are currently proposed, in Shannon and Cork. The terminals would be developed as import hubs, allowing fracked gas into the European market from the USA where there is currently an oversupply of this controversial fuel. The terminals would play an important role in the shale gas supply chain, the market for which is currently very unstable. read full story / add a comment

This is a repost of a story covering the video of the two brave doctors from California explaining how the lockdown is not necessary. The video was banned on YouTube but was then put up on Vimeo but has not been banned from there too. Dr. Daniel W. Erickson of Bakersfield, California, is a former emergency-room physician who co-owns, with his partner Dr. Artin Massih, Accelerated Urgent Care in Bakersfield. They are experienced medical professionals who have 40 years of hands-on experience in dealing with viruses and respiratory infections. Watching the news in China in January, they knew the virus was on its way. They ordered many COVID-19 tests because they knew they would need them. They tested many thousands of people, and discovered for themselves what epidemiologists around the world are saying: COVID-19 came here earlier than previously believed, is more ubiquitous, and ultimately for the general population less deadly than we thought. read full story / add a comment

Never before in the history of the world has there been such a massive and widespread shutdown of the economy for as long as for this Covid-19 scare. As of today April 21st it has been more or less shutdown for a month and the politicians instead of doing their usual and saying we will be out of this soon are saying we need to continue it indefinitely and even when the lockdown is lifted, it will only be gradual return to normality. Clearly everyone is worried and a lot depends on how long this lockdown continues for. The question is not whether the economy both here in Ireland and globally will be damaged but more by how much. This is an important question because real lives depend on what happens in it Here we attempt to assess where we are, what has happened and what logic dictates are some of the possible outcomes. read full story / add a comment

The mainstream media is acting as a mouth organ for the WHO and the state. There is very little coverage that questions the whole narrative of the Covid-19 lock down and police state measures nor any question of why the country is committing economic suicide. The propaganda has been relentless and so effective and it appears few seem bothered that their jobs and livelihoods have been trashed. You make up your own damn mind after reading this book whether you wish to take that vaccine and enter the brave new world that it shall herald, or, resist taking it and end up belonging to the new undesirable-untouchable underworld class without the digital vaccination certificate built into your body. How times have changed. In the space of a few weeks ordinary things like going to the beach or swimming have become illegal activities, criminal acts. We have sleep walked into a police state and we are clapping our way through it. We are told that the lockdown will have to continue indefinitely. We are told there will be more rounds of Covid-19 each worse the next. This is completely counter to most diseases which get milder over time. We are told when the lock down lifts, groups no larger than 10 will be allowed. What does that mean for flying, going to the theatre, cinema, concerts, football matches. Going to the beach, staying in a hotel. Actually it’s pure crap and if we don’t wake up and reject this bullshit, we are totally fucked. read full story / add a comment

In light of the slight interruption to normal life that is going on it is worth reassessing some of the known common knowledge about Big Tech and it's related area Artificial Intelligence (AI). Unless you have been asleep for the past 10 years, everyone will have heard of Edward Snowden who revealed in quite extensive detail the level of ongoing surveillance carried out jointly by the US and UK intelligence agencies, the NSA and GCHQ. Prior to his disclosure any suggestion of widespread spying was met with derision. Overnight the world changed and it was widely accepted as fact by everyone. What's more is that the depth and scale of the programs were far bigger than even the pessimists had imagined. It was this more than anything which has tarnished the reputation of technology as something that was always good to a demonstration of it's dark side. Sweden has not locked down and is getting through the Covid epidemic. The globalists through their proxy WHO are screaming out Sweden to go into lockdown immediately. They are using the media owned by the billionaire class to pressurize the government to buckle and follow the path everyone else followed. The end goal of the world wide lockdown is to completely crash the economy. It is time for people to stand up and stopping being obedient sheep and starting barking like dogs. Here is the report covering how life continues as pretty much normal in Sweden So far as I am aware, Sweden remains the only major Western country that has not imposed a strict lockdown on its citizens to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak. Other than a ban on gatherings of 50 or more people, and advice such as over-70s being urged to stay at home, Swedish schools, shops, restaurants and pubs all remain open.
