As is the case else where in the media nobody wants to say what the real cause is and they would rather speculate it is a mystery. The KillkennyPress article figures show ere is the opening paragraphs of the Killkenny report overall deaths in Co Kilkenny were up 30.4% for July to October 2022 compared to July to October 2019 (Pre Covid for comparison).

Tracey O'Mahony Barrister of Law has reviewed the pending legislation on the governments new hate crime bill and has found it seriously wanting. Please read it and view her video presentation on it.

IMPORTANT: The Government have released their new hate speech and hate crime bill - which they say they want passed by the end of this year

If you do nothing to stop this agenda, your children will forever live with the consequences, because once this bill becomes law, it will never be revoked

Galway County Council have proposed by laws that are truly Orwellian and all about control. One has to ask if this is a trial balloon for this were to succeed other councils were surely try it and before we know it hiking would be banned as well and basically all access to the outdoors. Remember that this was effectively done during Covid lockdowns so government know they can do it

This story has got fairly wide traction and rightly so. Here is a report from AFLOAT magazine

West coast windsurfers, sailors and other water users have expressed alarm over a proposal to ban all leisure activities other than swimming on Galway county beaches.

Under the draft legislation, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, stand-up paddling and horse-riding would be banned at 24 beaches extending from the Aran islands to Connemara to Portumna with a risk of fines of up to €1900.

international / anti-war / imperialism / news report Monday October 31, 2022 22:17 by 1 of Indy   image 1 image
Reuters has reported that on Oct 28th there were thousands of Czech protestors in Prague calling for the government to resign and for direct talks to be held with Russia to supply gas. The suicidal sanctions are hurting and thankfully at least in some places people are beginning to realize the NATO orchestrated war and orchestrated economic suicide are not in their interests.

In the meantime, the Irish government is attempting to bribe the population as they just announced a package of over € 1,200 million to subsidize energy bills this year and early next by paying off €200 of 2.2 million households for the next 3 billing periods. People might remember how hard the government fought to bring in Water Charges which was only going to bring in €150 million. Yet now barely without asking they are forking OUT ten times that much. The question is Why ? read full story / add a comment

Tesco is pushing card to usher in the cashless technocratic society and they are a key pillar of that effort. Once the cashless society is here then the corporate and banking elite will have full control over everything you do. Time to reject this future. In recent days Tesco has ramped up its tactic so much so that the Irish Council for Civil Liberties has begun to take notice and have written a letter to Tesco CEO.

We need to build independent NEW MEDIA, so that we can decide the issues to debate and offer analysys based on our own needs.

Already THE PEOPLE'S PAPER reaches out, but we need other media types and more to get involved.

If we allow the monopoly controlled media and social media to set the agenda, and censor debate, then we will remain enslaved.

The sabotage of the Nord Stream I and II gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea raises the stakes in the West vs Russian war and it now guarantees very serious energy problems for Europe this winter because it just removed the possibility of negotiation to save the day since the pipelines could probably not be fixed for months at best.

This leaves the question of who benefits? Naturally the MSM blames the attack on Russia. But they could have easily turned off the gas at source without damaging their own pipeline.

This article by Declan Hayes explains what has really happened and who benefits.

The net result of these terrorist attacks is to render obsolete German popular demands to open Nord Stream 2, Declan Hayes writes.

Address by the President of the Russian Federation on Sep 21st 2022
international / politics / elections / news report Friday September 23, 2022 21:33 by 1 of Indy   image 1 image
The full text of Putin's speech announcing the partial mobilization is reproduced here because the MSM and The West have gone completely bonkers and have been misrepresenting what was said. Also they are saying outright that Russia is losing and Putin's back is against the wall etc etc. The actual reality is nothing of the sort.

The Russians don't do bullshit like the politicians in the West do and are very upfront.

Therefore rather than listen to the "interpretation" made by the MSM and politicians who don't want you to read the actual speech and what he really said and the context, it makes more sense for you to read it yourself and make up your own mind.

People ought to remember that the West is openly saying they want to bring down the government of Russia and prolong the war to hurt them. The people saying this are not peace keepers and are not your friend. We are now all facing into Winter where it looks like we are going to face severe discomfort and blackouts, as well as huge energy prices and shortages. This will destroy the economy. Europe is committing suicide through these insane sanctions that only hurt Europe at the behest of the US & NATO. It is therefore prudent to see what is behind the curtain

A US grouping, constituted around the thought of the philosopher Leo Strauss, controls from now on both the Secretariat of Defense and the Secretariat of State. After having organized many wars since those of Yugoslavia, they imagined the one in Ukraine. It is now manipulating the European Union and is preparing to deprive it of energy sources. If European leaders do not open their eyes, their alliance with Washington will lead to the collapse of the Union’s economy. There is no point in believing that Europeans will be spared because they are developed. The Straussians wrote, as early as 1992, that they would not hesitate to destroy Germany and the EU. read full story / add a comment
