At present a number of Nigerian people are being checked onto a chartered flight to Lagos. These are not holiday makers but people who came to this country to seek refugee status. 23 February 2009 The Waterford occupation has entered its fourth week. Workers at Waterford Crystals are fighting for their jobs after the Waterford Wedgwood Group went into receivership. Negotiations are still in progress as two rival companies Clarion Investments and KPS Capital Partners talk to the receiver and union officials about a possible purchase.
