The emergence of global government is no conspiracy theory, says Dr David McGrogan. Those driving it cite global disasters, but in truth the greatest global disaster facing humanity is the emergence of world government.

Dear friends below I give details of some more of the various initiatives that Street Seen will be involved in, in the months ahead. Also I give an updated version for Indymedia on an article I had written a while back – more especially in relation to the last few days of great weather.

It talks about my increasing awareness and indeed growing love for nature and the environment. In youth such things I had not only not taken notice of, but if I had of, I believe I may not have spoken about it given the immediacy of war and the association with ‘manly’ peers of those times.

Indeed the immediate area of my childhood, that of the Turf, Murph, the Falls and surrounding area, is now the very same area that is bringing my senses alive through that appreciation of the environment and nature.

Firstly though a few upcoming initiatives of Street Seen. read full story / add a comment

Dublin is on the verge of having an autonomous social centre, set up and run by a collective called Seomra Spraoi, which formed last year. A public meeting this Saturday will update on progress and take on board people's views on what the centre can be used for and how it will be run. It's not too late for you as a individual or group to become part of the project (indeed it will never be too late to come on board, but now is when you are needed). read full story / add a comment

Last Thursday the war came home to London.

The indiscriminate killing in London last Thursday imitates the hi tech slaughters by British & U.S. forces in the invasions of Iraq & Afghanistan. The Ahern Govt. continues to make Ireland deeply complicit in these illegal wars and a predictable target as Shannon Airport continues to host 30,000 U.S. military a month.

As Peter Ustinov reflected," War is the terrorism of the rich; Terrorism is the war of the poor!"

A week on from the London attacks, we take pause from this cycle of violence to remember the dead.
Gather at GPO 8.30am-9.30am.
Wear black if possible.
Names of the dead from London & Iraq will be read.
We will demand the withdrawl of Irish complicity and Shannon Airport from the war effort. read full story / add a comment
