Jump To Comment: 1 2Last night in Galway University, the testimonies and courage of two brave young women, currently on a speaking tour of Ireland, was warmly saluted by a rapt audience of students and members of the public and in the case of one of them; Sahar Vardi, doubly so as she refused to serve in the Israeli army on point of conscience and was jailed as a consequence.
This Saturday, they continue their "conversation" at the Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre, Donegall St at 1:00PM.

Well done, all. I was sorry I had to miss this. Meanwhile I hear that Ed Horgan's visa to visit the US has been revoked - clearly as a peace activist he's a security risk. It's doubtless to do with his protesting at Shannon. Disgraceful action by the US, of course, but what we've come to expect.
