Follow the recent arrests and intimidation and harrasment of members of the Waterford IRSP by the 'secret police'. Yet another young member of the Kevin Lynch Cumann (Waterford) was arrested at 6.45am this morning.

"If you strike us, imprison, or kill us, out of our prisons or graves, we will evoke a spirit that will thwart you, and perhaps, raise a force that will destroy you! We defy you! Do your worst!" (James Connolly)

This republican socialist activist is being held under Section 30 of the offences against the state act.

He is being questioned as to being a member of an illegal organisation.

He can be held for 72 hours after which he can be released or charged.

Once again we see the branch trying to break IRSP from organising. Such activities by the state remind us of the tactics use by them in the 70's. Such actions will only strengthen the republican socialists resolve as Connolly put it... "If you strike us, imprison, or kill us, out of our prisons or graves, we will evoke a spirit that will thwart you, and perhaps, raise a force that will destroy you! We defy you! Do your worst!" (James Connolly)

A call for solidarity: All genuine republicans, socialists, trade unionists, radicals, revolutionaries must take note of such developments and express support and solidarity with those republican socialists targeted in such a way.
