ThePirateBay's Latest Venture ThePirateBay is best known for hosting trackers for distributed file-sharing and getting raided recently by the Swedish police at the behest of the US MPAA. They've been making noises about a couple of new ventures, and one of them has gone live: a completely uncensored image hosting service. The restrictions are that files cannot be > 100MB in size, but just about any conceivable format is supported. Users are encouraged to add tags (strings of single words categorizing/indexing the content). So, this is essentially a challenger to Flickr/Picasa. |

I suppose this little titbit could go here since it doesn't really merit a new thread all to itself and there is no appropriate one. They're very sly these pirate hackers. I think they're vindictive types you know.
