abolishment of slavery. theology of anti slavery

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | opinion/analysis author Thursday March 29, 2007 12:16author by Fr. Commandante - Church of Marx Report this post to the editors

standing in political solidarity

listening to pope, Benedict. last week

this year many people are commerating the abolishment of slavery 200 years ago.
if we were to be honest about this. we would be kicking up roar, about people who are been exploited in the work places. without trade union rights, working for less than the mininum wage. we would be making sure that proper information about these peoples rights to employment. the right to minium wage.
wer should stand to acknwledege the many people who stood up. to coloniliastion by Europe against the people of Africa. including the imperialism of European Christianity. which was forced upon these people

to listen to Pope Benedict, staement last week on the anniverasry, of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Europe. where he rants about women who are no longer giving birth to children. he should be told that to-day many people use contraceptives.

we should bow our heads in admiration to people who stood up in resistance.
let us never forget that period of history. I salute the radical socialist politics of Bro Malcolm X.

Ní hea a athair(?) ach cur ar ceal trádáil na sclábhaithe san impireacht Bhriotaineach a bhí ann.
Cé gur chuir An Mhárátáin (San Afraic) deireach le sclábhaíocht in 1980, maítear go bhfuil sé faoi lán tseol go fóill.
Dhaingnaigh Missippissi deireadh na sclábhaíochta in 1995. Meileann muilte dé go mall
