In a response to Robert Kogon's recent article pointing out that Bill Gates doesn't actually own the WHO, Ben Pile says the sceptics need to be more sceptical and avoid conspiracy theories.

"Surely Parliament will get the chance to vote on the WHO Pandemic Treaty," has been a common refrain. Not according to the Government, which repeatedly refused to assure MPs they would get a say on the binding agreement.

Protest in Navan

category meath | rights, freedoms and repression | news report author Saturday October 14, 2006 00:37author by Pat Walsh Report this post to the editors

Dempesy Pumps For Shell

Navan supports Erris with large Garda presence.

To night in Navan Co. Meath over 50 people protested on the Dublin Road in support of Shell to Sea and the good people of Erris. The response from passing motorists was heart warming. All Sinn Fein county and town councilors took part in the protest. The protest was very peaceful.
We were joined by 10 uniformed Gardai and the Branch, they even made a video of the protest. Out side Mr Dempseys local office more Gardai keep watch.
More Gardai were in the centre of town. When asked why they were at the protest, a good humoured Garda said we were told you were going to block the road. We had no intension of blocking any road or causing any trouble. It is now very clear Mr Dempesy is using the Gardai for His and Shells own end. The Gardai did not want to be there standing embarrassed, I am sure they would prefer to be doing their real job. The large Garda presence was very helpful as it drew more attention to the protest, so thank you for that Mr Dempsey, but will you leave these Gardai in Navan now as we need them or are they off to Erris.

Shane the only ones that give a dam about the people of Erris and Shell to Sea in Meath are Sinn Fein
Anyone who wants help Shell To Sea or the people of Erris in Co. Meath should get in touch with Meath Sinn Fein. They have not and will not stand idly by like all the other parties in Meath. The protest on the 13th was well advertised but others made no effort to support. F.G. -F.F.-P.Ds and now Labour in Meath are against Shell to Sea and the people of Erris and where were the Greens? did they know the Gardai would be making a video. .

Great work in taking it to Dempsey on his own doorstep.
Is there a contact for Meath Shell to Sea. I have one or two people I can put in touch with you.

All info gleaned and photographed should be distributed and given to local people.

In order to oust the political lobby, the important thing is to target the
constituency.

Mr Dempsey suffers from the "Thou shalt not shit on thine own doorstep" FFism,
thus he shits on Erris.

It is easy for people to forget when faced with electioneering clientelist politics.

Info evenings, showing the revolt vid, and some counter-propaganda.

Now the people of Navan should be helping the people of Minister Roches constituency.
He also does not shit on his own doorstep, but everyone elses:

IKEA.
M3
Nice 2

Information campaigns- yes He subverted the first Nice vote in order to bring
the corporate lobby to Meath.

Chinese Boxes.

Great crowd last nite good to see young agus old at the picket.Great support out there from the passing motorists.Liked the way the Gardai asked if we were going to block the road as if we would tell them good dective work boys.Whats the story with the pics of the protest?
We need to organize another one soon agus let Dempsey know he hasnt got away with it.

The Gardai have also been helpful adding an additional line during blocades of shell stations ;)
