hundreds die the world just stands by

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | opinion/analysis author Monday July 31, 2006 14:24author by hopesfireauthor email hopesfire2006 at yahoo dot ie Report this post to the editors

what are we coming to

What is wrong with this world? What is wrong with us?

How can people stand by and watch what is happening in the middle-east?

Is this the beginning of a new genocide for this century. Hundreds of people are dieing at the hands of the Isreali Defence Forces. Why do they do this? The Answer is that they can. the Isreali government can basicly do what they want knowing all to well of the support they have from America and other countries but why? that is the question people should be asking, the Isrealis are getting away with far to much. Showing there discontent for the security counscil showing again that the UN is about as useful as the league of nations was it is just taking longer to fall. maybe its guilt that they get away with it the guilt of a genocide against the jews. So people turn away when the jews do it to another people how many Arabs have been killed by Isreal? Does any one care? Over the past few days 54 people most of them kids have been murdered in Qana but this is not the first time there has been a massacre in Qana.

Let me bring you back to April 18 1996 Isreali artillary hit a Fijian UNIFIL compound and killed 106 civilians and injured 116. Was there any Isreali officials in the hague for that will there be for this? I wouldn't bet on it. They are committing genocide and getting away with it while the powers that be will not go up against them.

So what is to be done?

As we have seen the UN will not go in until the IDF lets them and other example of the uselessness of the UN even after 4 UN soldiers have been killed they stand and watch. So were will help come from for the people????????

The only hope for these people is us the people. We have to unite and let the world hear our outcry let everyone you can know what is happining we must show solidarity to these people and push our governments and so called United Nations to step in the world cannot afford to just stand by, something has to be done a force has to go in and stop the IDF?

But who will it be or when? i wait with abaited breath
