Jump To Comment: 1 2 3Those AAFES jobs aren't military. Many of the sales guys I knew didn't get travel or billeting privileges like military dependents. The advertisement sounds like a commission-oriented sales job.
The job involves servicing the US forces of occupation. These people would immediately be targets for the insurgents.
Shouldn't the Sindo be asked to explain this? It's irresponsible and is potentially putting Irish peoples lives in danger. What does the Dept of Foreign Affairs thinks? If these people end up in trouble in Iraq, is the Irish government supposed to bail them out? They know the risks.
