Renewables are not cheap and are never going to be, says David Turver. With over £12 billion being paid in subsidies to or because of renewables each year, the claim that renewable will save us money is a myth.

1916-2006 Easter Commemoration
img_0135.jpg

There was a large turnout for the Sinn Fein 1916-2006 Easter Commemoration. They marched from the garden of remembrance, passed the Dail, back to the G.P.O.

Many families and children took part. Plenty of music, poetry and speeches in this colorful event.

Ill post up a short video when completed.

Bumped into an old man today in town who had his tan war medals on. Said he woudn't go near the Free State partitionist commemoration tomorrow. Fair play to him. Sell out crap from the people who wouldn't countenance a united Ireland, but are perfectly prepared to capitalise on the altruism of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for it.

If Mr. Adams and friends are allowed to wear their Easter Lily's today (when sandwiched in between Bertie and the Brits) will they be allowed to wear them ?
Are same distributed by a person 'licenced' by the State to do so ?
I should hope so . It would be just terrible if an 'issue' of some sort arose because this matter was overlooked in the scramble for the expensive seats . How embarrassing !
And when things are going so well , too .

Fighting at 16 years of age in 1922 would have one celebrating their 100th birthday in 2006.

Unlikely, but possible.

"There can be no such things as an Irish nationalist accepting the loyalist veto and partition. You cannot claim to be an Irish nationalist if you consent to an internal six county settlement and if you are willing to negotiate the state of Irish society with a foreign government"
Gerry Adams AP/RN November 22 1984
