USI nominations

category national | politics / elections | news report author Tuesday February 22, 2005 12:00author by USI watch Report this post to the editors

Nominations open!

Word on the street has it that many big players within USI this year are putting their heads on the block for President of the organisation next year.

Names that are floating around are Heledd Fychan, USI Education Officer, Tony O Donnell (USI Western area officer), Fergal Scully (UCDSU President), Jarleth Molloy (DITSU President) and Francis Keiran (TCDSU President).

What kind of leadership will USI have next year? The normal right wing stuffy type or will we finally have a radical president from UCD?

And who will claim the Deputy President, Welfare Officer & Education Officers roles?

Whatever happens, its going to be an interesting few months with elections and national congress to get through!

Watch this space!
