Palestinian Hunger Strike

category national | miscellaneous | press release author Friday September 03, 2004 15:44author by Aoife Report this post to the editors

Strike over - Demo tomorrow going ahead

Media reports (today's Irish Times and Ha'aretz) that the Palestinian Political Prisoners have ended their hunger strike after 19 days and states that most of their demands have been met.

There will still be a token presence outside the Israeli Embassy tomorrow from 11. Bring banners, flags, placards, whistles etc.

Its not up to the SWP to run down this demo. It was called by the IPSC. Why are you sabotaging the Demo?

“They didn’t get anything. We didn’t hold any discussions with them at all. They resumed eating unconditionally,” Yaacov Ganot (commander of prisons).

What concessions have these terrorists won? None.

Yet again the Palestinian terrorists have been shown to be cowards, without the courage of their bloodthirsty convictions.

And before some wag responds with 'Israel doesn't lie of course, blah, blah....'
It's the Palestinian terrorists who have been lying during this mockery of a hunger strike.
Barghouti was filmed eating just two days into it.

you may not have noticed this but there is more than one aoife living in dublin - and this one happens to be the ipsc member who did all the leaflets advertising the demo & distributed a shit load of them around dublin - which brings me to question of "who are you?"

before you get off on exposing people's political affiliations on a site known to be infiltrated by cops you should try showing the courage of your convictions and putting your own name with your shitty little comments - i already know of one civil servant who has been disciplined at work because of comments on this site - but for people like you the main thing of course is not left unity, or solidarity with the palestinians but "look behind you, it's the swp" - and less of the pflp - unless you know enough about the various factions in palestine and reaons for the number of leftie groups keep you silly little monty python sketch to yerself!
