Combatting Domestic Violence

A recent survey in the Derry area found that one in three women were victims of domestic violence. Which means one in three men, from all walks of life, be they professionals or unemployed men beat their wives/partners. This is happening in the Derry area alone. Violence in the home is usually instigated by men, who beat and brutalise vunerable women/mothers and children. Disempowered frustrated men take out their anger on their women folk, in the home, women are easy targets, for men to physically bully and dominate.

Our society feeds women romantic sugar coated shite, about men and marriage. It sends unarmed romantically guillible women to seek out potentially dangerous men. Society, misleads us into thinking men will protect and fend for us. The reality is the total opposite, men are opportunistic vultures who prey on unarmed women. Men will not protect us, but will stick the boot into women whenever they can. It's about time the playing field was leveled, we need to teach our young women to train up, to be able to beat men physically, to take steroids to enable us to compete on a level physical playing field as men.

We live in a violent society, theres no point playing soft, when men don't play fair. There's no point expecting policemen who are males themselves to step in and protect women. We need to be able to protect ourselves physically and never let our guard down, because sure enough some bastard man will stick the boot in. If a man thinks he can get away with banging our heads off a kerbstone they'll do it, when we DO THEM before they do us, then the bastards will learn some manners.

The stereotype of the man beating his wife and children is not borne out in reality, by research. Most male violence happens against other men on the streets, not domestically. Most violence against children in the home is from the mother. Every year many thousands of children worldwide are beaten tortured and even murdered by their mothers. Yet when we think of domestic vilence we see lonely isolated women in bibs standing at a sink bleeing and crying! These do exist and need assistance but most people who suffer terrible violence and abuse in the home have nobody to talk to or nobody who will listen to them over their mother.

Children are no so eloquent on day-time chat shows so we overlook the fact that over 80% of violence in the home is against children and 95% of violence against children is from women . Men also make up some of the victims of domestic violence but very rarely get a mention. I cannot remember the source of the research released last year, I will try to find it. Perhaps someone could help?

Fortunately women have achieved great protection powers in law and in psychobabble-land and have established a rationality of "acceptable behaviour" in their psychobabble framework of reality. Who speaks for the children? Sure, we all do if it's their daddy that hits them but what about the other 95% of instances where it's an overwrought mother who strangles junior, because he wont stop crying? Outflowing of sympathy to and overworught mother? Like when that Cork schoolteacher-MAN shot himself and his four year old a couple of years ago? Wasn't the same , was it? He was a bastard, right?

I have the utmost symathy for women who lose the cool with their kids. Mothers in todays economic-society have such pressure they need massive help and support which they will not get. But does this excuse beating or killing children? We are all eager to understand their dfficulty but why then are people so unwilling to accecpt similar such unaccecptable excuses for male-on-female violence?

Whatever our skewed view on "accecptable behaviour " in the home and however it has developed, I think it is most urgent for the sake of the weakest in our society to understand and protect children from the danger they face every day ,from their mothers. If "wimmin" want to focus on the "evil violent male" image in as subtle a way as modern anti-sexist laws permit, that is not very accecptable as long as children face continual assault and even murder, mostly at the hands of the "sisters".

This sexist crap eminating from the US and UK where witchdocktors of Psychiatry, psychology and espcially psychotherapy are creating a world view as bogus as their WMD evidence. Divide (and conquer) the family and female/male positive relationships so to better control society. Believe their lies about men being from Mars and women from Venus and that we can never communicate, so why try. But while games are waged for societal control and wimmin act out of "unresolved issues", children will suffer and die and cry themselves to sleep. Does anyone care about these not-so-bolshy citizens?

Remember Dr Moira Woods of the sexual assault unit at the Rotunada and how she ruined the lives of so many men and children while we all sat back and accepted her "professional expertise". She spoke so eloquently and with such a lovely accent when she falsly accused and helped convict men of child abuse that never happened. Poor men who could not even afford a lawyer. High powered lawyers and "professionals" alligned against unemployed labourers backed up by a cobbled together view of reality as manufactured by "experts" on "domestic violence".
