Demo in Support of Margaretta D'Arcy who is serving a 3 month sentence in Limerick Prison for refusing to remain silent about the US military use of Shannon. Another demonstration will take place outside Limerick Prison on Friday 24th January at 5pm. That is unless the government and authorities do the right thing before then, which is to Free Margaretta and End the Movement of Armed Soldiers, War Machines and Human Rights Abusers through Shannon Airport. |

Jump To Comment: 1Approx 75 people gathered in Galway City Centre in solidarity with Margaretta D'Arcy. The protest was organised by Galway Alliance Against War. The speaker was Margaretta's son, Finn Arden.
He asked for a callout of support by gathering at the entrance to Shannon Airport on Sun Feb 9th.
