With the rise of woke authoritarianism it's not that we are not becoming more like China, argues Dr David McGrogan, but that we are becoming more like ourselves as the dark inner logic of secular modernity pushes through.

Hacker unearths plot against Syria / Iran

category international | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Saturday June 15, 2013 02:32author by fred Report this post to the editors

Some emails have come to light apparently hacked from the server of Britam Defence, the British private military company that operates mainly in the Middle East. These make for VERY interesting reading!!

A hacker named JasirX hacked the server of Britam Defence, the British private military company that operates mainly in the Middle East, and posted for free access to the company’s confidential correspondence, contracts copies and personnel data.

In accordance with company’s internal correspondence Saudi Arabia is actively preparing for military operations against Iran. It engages the British company in its military maneuvers. According to the leaked papers Iran is to be the Saudis’ maneuver enemy. Military games like that won’t help to ease the situation in the region. And this is obviously not the purpose of Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Qatar that seeks to speed up the Syrian issue resolution offers Britam Defence to explode a gas-shell in Syria. They already have a shell similar to those in Assad’s depots. It was brought from Libya. I suppose when world mass media show the Syrian people dying from the chemical attack of the so-called government forces no one would doubt that foreign troops should invade Syria."

Surprising how well Erdogans party did in a subsequent election in spite of this leaked call, a crackdown on protesters, several reports of scandal, and the banning of social media. I guess none of that matters to the turkish voting population. Well either that or there was vote rigging that is! But no doubt that might be considered conspiracy theory too !

Over the years every time a hint of any kind of conspiracy came up, it would be attached to the lunatic fringe and thereby discredited. This has become the standard way of controlling information that the public shouldn't hear.

In this case a leaked audio file was posted up on Youtube, of members of the Turkish National Security meeting openly conspiring to enter a war with Syria on a completely false pretext, otherwise known as a false flag event. In the transcript of the translated conversation the reason for entering war is for domestic political purposes and there seems to be also a desire to please the Americans, with a reference to John Kerry and mention that the US is planning a no-fly zone. One of the participants of the meeting seems to be concerned that the intelligence agencies have stooped so low so as to be simply a tool of the domestic politics, but he is largely ignored and the others are quite unconcerned. Another point that comes out is that they had discussed this type of thing before and one can only conclude that they have previously carried out other false flag attacks of various kinds -probably against Kurds in the past.

In the aftermath of the leak, the Turkish government rushed to block YouTube in Turkey.

The Voltaire network has a report on the leak and has the full translated transcript. Here are some extracts from that report.

March 27, 2014, excerpts from the recordings of a Turkish National Security meeting were posted on the Internet. Forthwith, the government shut down YouTube in the country.

According to these tapes, the government of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was planning a false flag attack to be executed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) against the tomb of Suleiman Shah in Syria to justify the intervention of the Turkish army in Syria.

Suleiman Shah, grandfather of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, was buried in Aleppo. His grave was relocated in 1973, but it remains a Turkish extraterritorial enclave in Syria.

March 20, 2014, the ISIL called for the withdrawal of the Turkish special forces secretly deployed in Syria and threatened to destroy Shah Suleiman’s tomb should no change be forthcoming.

The problem facing the conspirators is that the ISIL has been occupying the tomb for months without any reaction from Ankara. The pretext, in itself sufficient, would therefore seem to be moulded to the need.

For the full transcript see the link below, but here are some of the interesting parts of it.

Ahmet Davutoğlu : “Prime Minister said that in current conjuncture, this attack (on Suleiman Shah Tomb) must be seen as an opportunity for us.”

Hakan Fidan : “I’ll send 4 men from Syria, if that’s what it takes. I’ll make up a cause of war by ordering a missile attack on Turkey ; we can also prepare an attack on Suleiman Shah Tomb if necessary.”

Feridun Sinirlioğlu : “Our national security has become a common, cheap domestic policy outfit.”

Yaşar Güler : “It’s a direct cause of war. I mean, what’re going to do is a direct cause of war.”

.......

ioğlu :
That’s what I told back there. For one thing, the situation is different. An operation on ISIL has solid ground on international law. We’re going to portray this is Al-Qaeda, there’s no distress there if it’s a matter regarding Al-Qaeda. And if it comes to defending Suleiman Shah Tomb, that’s a matter of protecting our land.

Yaşar Güler : We don’t have any problems with that.

Hakan Fidan : Second after it happens, it’ll cause a great intern al commotion (several bombing events is bound to happen within). The border is not under control...

Feridun Sinirlioğlu : I mean, yes, the bombings are of course going to happen. But I remember our talk from 3 years ago...

Hi folks,

As plausible as this seems, it's already been exposed as a fake. You can easily verify this for yourself. If you compare two of the leaked email files:

...Iranian Issue.eml
http://pastebin.com/Di2Fwtuj
...and Sirian Issue.eml (the one which speaks of planting CW):
http://pastebin.com/QkWVJuDC

..you can see that the email headers are almost identical. The dates are different but the times at which the emails were sent are IDENTICAL, down to the exact second. It's incredibly unlikely that this would happen by co-incidence. So it seems that one of these emails was faked by copying and pasting the header of the other email as a template - and a careless enough fake to not bother changing the time when they altered the date!

If you want to check this for yourself, you can download the original leaked documents, unzip the archives and open the files mentioned and see for yourself. I have done this and it's true, but you don't have to take my word for it.

Having said that, many of the OTHER files released in the leak seem plausible, so it's possible that some of the material is genuine, possibly obtained by hacking as claimed. But the email about planting chemical weapons in Syria has been thoroughly discredited.

Please spread the word about this email being fake - if we don't correct our mistakes we discredit ourselves. In particular, could the author of the article pass the word back to whoever they got the story from?

Assuming the above mentioned e-mail dated "12/24/12 3:57 PM" is genuine, then it seems (to me) that it represents powerful evidence of what is really going on "behind the scenes" in relation to the war that is at present raging in Syria: a war which many well-informed people -- including several of the most senior Russian and United States military personnel -- believe has the potential to easily escalate into an all-out thermonuclear World War 3 confrontation, which would be all over and done with within the space of around 90 minutes or so - as far as the" international thermonuclear bomb-slinging" part of such a war is concerned. Other aspects of such a war, which would almost certainly involve the long drawn-out and extremely painful deaths of billions of people, and maybe even the complete (or almost complete) destruction of "Life on Earth" as a whole, would take considerably longer than 90 minutes of course.

Writing as a person who has successfully completed a number of lengthy contracts (as a civilian, working on a free-lance basis) for a selection of private companies doing government work, I'm inclined to think the above mentioned e-mail might well be genuine: for whatever such a personal opinion is worth.

sounds crazy enough to be true

author by Tpublication date Sat Jun 15, 2013 12:23author address author phone Report this post to the editors

So the "CW" refer to above means Chemical Weapons. There have already been several attempts to claim they were used in Syria and it is quite clear from this letter that the only Chemical Weapons that will be used will be the ones set off by USA / UK to make it look like the Syrians.

Clearly they are trying to create something spectacular enough to push public opinion over to support their wish to launch a full scale attack on Syria
