At the start of this Covid crisis, many thought it was just a virus and if they followed government we would soon get back to normal life. Clearly that is not the case. Instead the "experts" tell us this will continue indefinitely into the future, we have surrendered our rights to experts, bureaucrats and polticans and the global economy is being destroyed. Not only that all forms of social interaction -the very essence of being human - have been severely and continue to be curtailed and now we are told we will have to be tracked, monitored, forcefully tested, DNA sampled and vaccinated. The penny is beginning to drop that the powers that be don't plan on allowing society to go back to the old ways. They took about the new normal and frankly it looks pretty ugly. So Tracey O'Mahony is someone who is finally taking a stand and doing something about it. She has started a GoFund-Me page to finance the campaign. Already the woke crowd have attacked her in an effort to discredit her. But there has been no criticism of any sort from these types and they act like pure sheep which is a very dangerous thing to happen because powerful people always take advantage of sheep and often slaughter when they are finished with them. read full story / add a comment

We need to step out in large numbers to make our voices heard. Let’s aspire to what we saw in Berlin yesterday and stand united on August 22nd. We’ll assemble at the Custom House, Dublin at 2pm. Stay tuned for further details.
A protest will be held by Health Freedom Ireland (HFI) and Yellow Vest Ireland protesting against government mandates, demanding transparency, proportionality of decisions and accountability by government officials and advisors on August 22nd 2020 at 2pm in front of the Custom House, Dublin 1.
This will be a peaceful protest with speeches and a march. Purple T-shirts will be worn by supporters of Health Freedom Ireland. HFI has no political affiliations. read full story / add a comment

After starving out who knows how many people with lockdowns India was forced to scrap them and the outcome was…anything but Judgement Day. Having proven that lockdowns were unsustainable India then went on to prove that they were put up in response to what amounts to less than a flu. With 2.7 million detected infections and just 53,000 deaths that makes for a lowly, flu-like CFR (case fatality rate) of 0.2%. But of course, the true number of infections is at least several times higher and the infection correspondingly less lethal. In a young population, this is a pathogen less deadly than the flu by almost an order of magnitude. read full story / add a comment

Dov Fox, a Soros fellow who currently works as director of the Center for Health Law Policy and Bioethics at the SanDiego.edu, has come out to claim that people who refuse vaccination for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) could lose their jobs or even be sent to jail. There are reports that a huge blast rocked Beirut today (Tues) with videos online showing a massive blast. It is reported that over 70 people have been killed with hundreds injured. Streets in surrounding areas have been destroyed and the blast was so powerful cars quite far back from the blast were flipped over. The initial reports are suggesting the explosion occurred at a warehouse where dangerous chemicals and fireworks were stored but this could easily be a strategy to set the narrative. Given the scale of the blast one would have to wonder are fireworks really that popular and besides the main explosion indicates something far more massive. In the last year Lebanon has undergone a huge financial crisis and the country has been plunged into poverty and the value of the currency has plumented with the result of a huge surge in unemployment and poverty. The country is completely broke. Thus the recent political development have to be therefore linked to today's explosion in some way. read full story / add a comment

Romanticism has so saturated our culture that we need to stand back and remind ourselves what it is, and examine how it has seeped into our thinking processes to the extent that we are not even aware of its presence anymore. Or why this is a problem. The Romanticist influence of intense emotion makes up a large part of modern culture, for example, in much pop music, cinema, TV and literature, e.g. genres such as Superheroes, Fantasy, Horror, Magical realism, Saga, Westerns. I will look at the origins of Romanticism, and its negative influence on culture and politics. UN Press Release, 27 JULY 2020 – An additional 6.7 million children under the age of five could suffer from wasting – and therefore become dangerously undernourished – in 2020 as a result of the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, UNICEF warned today. According to an analysis published in The Lancet, 80 per cent of these children would be from sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Over half would be from South Asia alone. “It’s been seven months since the first COVID-19 cases were reported and it is increasingly clear that the repercussions of the pandemic are causing more harm to children than the disease itself,” said UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore. “Household poverty and food insecurity rates have increased. Essential nutrition services and supply chains have been disrupted. Food prices have soared. Religious leaders representing over 95% of Puerto Rico's population wrote Congress urging that the island be included in the next stimulus plan. Job creation, disaster relief and protections for the vulnerable were lifted in a letter signed by leaders of the Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Christian (Disciples) and Evangelical Churches. Although mechanistic studies [*] support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.
