On February 1st 2011 in Dail Eireann, whilst speaking to John Gormley , the Meath TD Shane Mc Entee said ‘The Deputy did not get to ban the Ward Union after all his talk.’ And ‘Its members are still hunting’. As Shane Mc Entee is confirming that the Ward Union Staghunt are now breaking the law, should he not, as an elected representative in Dail Eireann condemn the blatant disregard of Irish Legislation by the Ward Union. As part of a group who monitor the Ward Union we can confirm that they continue to hunt twice weekly as they have in the past and as they intended to do by issuing a meet card at the start of this season. When legislation means nothing to officially elected TDs why should they be allowed to represent the people in Dail Eireann. read full story / add a comment ![]()
