Sinn Féin hang large banner in Parnell Square Re: Dublin & Monaghan bombings
http://www.politics.ie/sinn-fein/160596-sinn-fein-hang-....html

Dublin Sinn Féin activists unveil a banner at the Sinn Féin bookshop in Parnell Square calling on the British Government, during the visit to Ireland by Elizabeth Windsor, to release all the documentation it has in relation to the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 1974. It is widely believed that British security forces assisted the loyalists who carried out the bombings leaving 34 people dead and hundreds injured.

http://www.sinnfein.ie/contents/20654

The Sinn Féin Dáil team have today published a Private Members’ motion on the Dublin-Monaghan bombings which will be debated in the Dáil next Tuesday and Wednesday.

The motion reiterates a previous all-party motion which was passed in July 2008 and calls on the Government to press British Prime Minister David Cameron to release all files related to the bombings.

Much discussion is being given at present on the Vincent Browne show to the fact of the mistimings of todays events http://www.tv3.ie/shows.php?request=tonightwithvincentb...rowne

Talbot street is one of the few that is not listed for parking or other restrictions next week. Ironically the JFF usually get it closed for 30 mins during the memorial service :-)

Just to keep people informed who may be travelling the information at present regarding travel restictions from the gardai is as follows:
There will be no parking in the following areas from 06:00 on Saturday 14 May to Friday 20 May 2011. Barriers will be placed along all or some of these routes over the same time period.

They also state that they will be doing searches of people and vehicles.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, it is good to see that both Dublin City and Monaghan Town Councils have supported the JFF call for British files to be opened regarding these killings. Dublin City Council passed a motion on Monday night (9th May 2011) and Monaghan Town council also supported the move in their April meeting.

However, up in Dublin castle things are moving ahead in St. Patricks Hall, preparing the place for visitors while outside on one of the entrances 'lady justice' has her back turned to the people of Dublin, not even blindfolded!
