Budrus is a village in the West Bank of Palestine where they did something truly amazing.

The film 'Budrus' is a documentary style film which gives an insight into the power of nonviolence, reconciliation and deeper humanity. It takes a village to unite the most divided people on earth and this is exactly what happened there.

Fatah, Hamas and Israeli's all unite in Budrus to struggle against the construction of the 30ft concrete wall that threaten's the village land's and the village life itself. Showing that Political divide's as well as social and ethnic divides can all crumble in the face of greater humanity and justice.

In Budrus we have a people determined to fight for their rights in a way that does not take other's rights from them here we see the true idea's of every day Palestinians and the truth about the serious and horrific oppression they face from the Israeli government and Military

The Queen's University Belfast Palestine Solidarity Society would like to invite you to follow this story with us by watching the film to see if the people of Budrus suceed in their united stance against the wall.

Anyone wishing to see first hand the truth about how Israel uses self defense as an ultimate excuse to disposes people from their land's and to witness people truly struggling for peace should not miss this film!

There will be a Question and Answer session after the film for people to ask question's or give their views.

ALL WELCOME
