Sunday February 13, 2011 15:25 by Paul Lynch - RSC
A former chief of the Corrib Gas Project proclaimed that “Corrib will pay no tax” owing to the billions already spent on the decade late project. The statement was made during a panel discussion convened at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin concerning the issues brought up by “The Pipe” - a documentary film about the Corrib Gas Controversy. Ironically the claim was made to defend the current terms and conditions for oil and gas exploration and production in Ireland. |

I think this should read: $80 a barrel (or roughly €60 a barrel).
with the current ripples running through the Middle East, the trajectory has to be up.
The higher it goes, the more we prove to have been defrauded, not least by our own 'representatives'.
There is enough evidence that this whole debacle is a monumental act of TREASON, why are politicians of all parties not mentioning the many crimes that are being commited in Erris?Fianna Fail Judges sending Innocent people to jail on trumped up charges,Gardai commiting perjury ETC. It is all happening in Enda's backyard and he is silent.

Some more analysis of this story at http://www.wsm.ie/c/corrib-pipeline-shell-profit-fine-gael
In particular it actually looks like the total cost of the project is now nearer 3.4 billion dollars than the 2 billion he quotes (its already cost that in euro according to Shell).
