Toxic Lorry at the Gates - Toxic Load in the Dail

category dublin | anti-capitalism | news report author Wednesday September 29, 2010 16:35author by Madam K and Seán Ryan Report this post to the editors

The two intrepid reporters approached the Dáil, hoping to have some serious questions answered, armed with a camera and a butt plug, just in case.

A big lorry came and parked outside the Dail in an act of protest about toxic banks. Reporters were later to be seen spinning the story that it had tried to crash through the gates. Later still, politicians were defecating the same thing. We had enough. We produced the butt plug. The politicians seemed to like it.

Not all of us are willing to take it in the arse for the banks.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyKzzpW5O7s

The lorry didn't try to ram through the gates. If it had it would have succeeded. The gardaí sprung into action by breaking the back window. The gentleman inside, who'd immobilised the vehicle, was arrested and taken away. The gardaí stood around scratching their heads through their hats. Nobody it seems considered the possibility that the truck might explode at any second. A very good thing it didn't as the bodycount would have been high, due to lots of good folks travelling to work and others stopping up to see what was going on.

A tow truck eventually arrived. There have been many things said about the lorry having slowed or stopped traffic, this was far from the truth, it was the tow truck that hindered traffic. The lorry was winched up and dragged away nearly two hours later.

The politicians started to arrive. We really wanted to question them about their ideas on our debt crisis, NAMA and other things. We'd discussed our approach a number of times and had decided to bring along a butt plug in the event that the politicians decided to be anal. They decided to be anal, just like we really knew they would. They didn't disappoint us.

When asked questions about how the deficit was going to be plugged or if the people of Ireland felt that they were taking it up the arse for the banks, the politicians almost eat the butt plug, in their hurry to promote themselves and the shite they were expelling.

The crisis continues. The banks will be taken care of. And all the saps at the Dáil have to show for themselves is their willingness to talk shite into a butt plug.

Look at the puss's on our employee's , every one of those civil serpents is supposed to be
slogging away on our behalf , but they're not , If the entire country could view these pictures as an employer, i wonder would
we , as employers , sack the whole shaggin lot of the employees & run them down to the North Wall to find gainful employ
ment in another country , benefits excluded and given the run-around as we are given here .

I salute the truck driver , its a pity only one showed up today .

There was very little support for Joe outside the courthouse, I was there. And while his stunt may have caught the imagination of so many people rightly outraged at what banks and politicians are doing and have done, Joe McNamara was part of a layer of society also responsible for helping to create the problem.
He is a property developer and only vexed because he now has about E3 million worth of debts from his vast property portfolio. He is angry that he is now not a profitable landlord, no sympathy from me.

People like him got caught up in the whole free for all attitude, money was being spent and run into overdraft everywhere, the smart money folk were the only ones ahead of the game.

The EU bribed Fianna Fail to stop farmers growing their crop,so a lot of them got into the concrete farming industry, hence the present day.

Why do we the working class have to take the hit in cuts to our wages and hiked up taxes on things we purchase, and our wages, when it wasn't us to took the bribes and looked the other way..

I do not understand why we havent cut FAS loose as it a government scam that only benefits the government, and it does not rejuvenate the economy it drains it right to the core.

Why do our government insist on working off the old follow the U.K model, our government has not reformed or changed much in our english laws either..

Im voting the workers party!

I agreee 100% with Tom above, McNamara was part of the system that has brought us to ruin. Bankers and developers with the aid of politicans in high and low places such as the local councills created the mess. Planning regulations went out the window in the rush to lash up houses and hotels that no one wanted. Greed has landed Joe McNamara in the jam pot he now finds himself in.
Did he think it was that simple to become a millionaire, just borrow 100,000 and tripel your money by throwing up shoddy houses. A hero he aint, maybe a real one will come along soon, we could do with one.

This was not a serious incident - this was a minor incident, if these politicians can't grasp that, what hope is there for the country's future!

I love the way the Fine Gael politician makes a statement and then admits he wasn't there and knows nothing about it.

No heroes in this report, I'm afraid. But well done to the two reporters for the report on the reality that is 'clueless' politicians inhabiting Leinster House.

Indeed..we have no soundbites, where are the soundbites for the ordinary citizens (nationals and non nationals that pay tax,not the ones getting the envelopes under the table),where are the soundbites, there are none,so we have to get out and protest, all it takes is scheduling one day with your placards or posters that is all,one day out of your complacent coronation street watching lives!

it is estimated we will owe the germans along with some other small contributor member states of the eu,700 billion, not the 50 billion as it stands(according to those with heavily vested interests),but 700 billion before we can turn on our heel, and try to build ourselves back up again,no quick fix,so the national overdraft will be (i would say),a lot more than the 30 year estimate,im not going to worry about it as long as im out of the s***,and i can tell you this,i would quicker join the ira, then pay a penny of tax to these f***ers

i wouldn't vote for any of them,we need to burn the banks to the ground, thats what we need to do..
why have these banksters wiped their home addresses off the google map,it is obvious why, because there are some people who have every right to stand in front of them and question them, why can't the government take these people to task for all our sakes, most of us are in serious debt, including our dumb politicians, and our banks get the bail, while they are still threatening ordinary people with legal action if they do not pay the extortionate rates, they are holding us to ransom..we are all in trouble and nobody is doing F** about it..i suppose if your'e okay, its all good, but nobody is safe from any of the fallout from this national debt, they will be taking state jobs too you know, county councillors are the most corrupt by far..

Anybody living in wicklow know where the biggest fraudsters in our country live,i would like to pay them a visit..
