Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7The heroes of 1916 must be turning in their graves at the actions of modern day Irish traitors that have brought our country to its knees.
These scum will be there on the day with false praise for true heroes as usual. They should be shown up for the traitors and hypocrites that they are and this would be a greater tribute to the men that died for us.
I found it nausiating to see pictures of Bertie Aherne plastered all over the walls of the museum for Michael Davitt in Mayo, What would the men of 1916 have done with Bertie and his pals?

Grate that Eirigi are to have Easter comemoration in Dublin , some where for left Republicans to go.
Thanks Eirigi.
lads theres too many Easter commemorations, when peple see lots of small gathring it looks dreadful. One thing all leftists should unite on is remembering our fallen heroes.
Padraic Pearse went into Arnotts on Henry street a week before the occupation of the GPO and paid off the 7 shilling 2/6d balance he owed on his suit. The suit he got arrested in a week later. Back then, to pass from this life without owing a debt was concidered honourable.
It is Ironic that Bertie Aherne has a portrait of Padraic Pearse hanging behind him on his wall, in his office in Dromcondra. Bertie cant remember where he got all this money or which bank account or how much, and has allowed the greatest rip-off of the people of the Irish Nation, supported US led genocide and sold our resources worth 560 billion..... and...Pearse.....who would not shame himself by dying with debt as he prepared to lay down his life for this country, forsaken by his forebarers.
Glad to see all of you psuedo-republicans celebrating the great war dead. Including those war dead who carried out numerous attrocities during the 30 year "troubles"
The definition of war should be reconsidered however. If it's a bomb below the car of an unarmed member of the security forces, when they are taking children to school etc, its an act of war.
However when the SAS are brought into the equation in response to the calous and cowardly murderers of the Pira / Ira / Sinn Fein / Cira / Inla , its described by the cowards in Sinn Fein as shoot to kill!
How laughable, have it our way (the Sinn Fein way) or no way... the North, still British, Gerry Adams, paid in GB Pounds, the flag over Stormont, STILL the union Jack.
The SAS would not have to 'respond' to anything if they were not there in the first place. And your use of the word 'war' is not apt. War, in case you forgot, generally and in the main, used to mean two armies confronting each other in an open field... Now, the British, the US and yourself believe that sending in heavily armed, sofisticated, trained military personell against a civilian population is war- you could not be further from the truth.
If someone walked into your living room and took over your house you would probably make them a nice cuppa tea, and clean there boots and thank them for their company and let them use your back as a mat..
