George Orwell himself is being cancelled, says Paul Sutton. In a conversation with Oxford Literature postgraduate students, it became clear that the great opponent of authoritarianism was no longer welcome.

Keir Starmer says he will never withdraw from the ECHR because there is "no need" and Rishi Sunak did not disagree, despite it being the reason he failed to stop the boats. Nigel Farage says it's time to ask the people.

A Swiss girl has been been taken into care because her parents stopped her taking puberty blockers, breaching a ban on conversion therapy. Is this what Labour means by a "full, trans-inclusive ban on conversion practices"?

The West's headlong rush to jettison fossil fuels and hit 'Net Zero' CO2 emissions is impoverishing us while enriching China, which is ramping up its coal-fired industry to sell us all the 'green' technology.

Next Sunday 8th. November
War Criminals
War Criminals

Netanyahu and his gang of war criminals will leave Israel early next Sunday morning, stop to refuel in Ireland, and go on to Washington.

On Monday, Netanyahu is expected to meet with Obama.

Netanyahu will leave for New York that night, and will spend Tuesday giving interviews and meeting with Jewish leaders.

Netanyahu and the gang will then make his way home on Tuesday, stopping to refuel in Paris.

Which airport at what time? I'll be there with my handcuffs

I am a Christian. George Bush said he was a Christian too.
Many said he was a terrorist and a war-criminal.
I do not feel I have to react by calling such criticism 'anti-Christian'.
I might also happen to believe his actions and attitude were the direct opposite of the Christ he claimed to follow. I might also believe he was a warmonger and a terrorist of the highest order.

I am always relieved to discover that many of the most eloquent and informed critics of the Israeli policy of slow genocide against the Palestinian state are Israeli's, often Jewish, and often ex-military themselves.
It never fails to baffle me how a nation which has suffered so much injustice, can so quickly justify inflicting such injustice on the inhabitants of the land they steal.
The hysterical cries of anti-Semitism at the merest hint of criticism anywhere in the world smack of hypocricy, guilt and fear of the truth.
They actually encourage ant-Semitism where none exists.
It appears to be a tragically dominant reaction which is certainly not conducive to creating a viable two-state solution, one based on equality and justice.
It appears Israel has not learned from history. Are we witnessing some form of national PTSD?
Whatever, only the severest sanctions on this rogue state must be the order of the day.

If the Irish government had balls and really believed in human rights, warrants should be issued for the detention of the characters mentioned above and issued by Gardaí at Shannon, if that is at all legally possible. Is anyone protesting to the Department of Justice or Department of Foreign Affairs?

We need more accurate information on this issue of the Israeli leaders plan to refuel at Shannon airport. Please let us know where this information came from, and if possible what time their plane is due at Shannon. We need to mount an effective protest and take action to arrest these war criminals, citing the Goldstone report on war crimes in Gaza.
This refuelling coincides with the monthly peace vigil at Shannon on Sunday 8 November, See www.shannonwatch.org
In the past we probably forced George W Bush and Airforce 1 to overfly Shannon by having protesters to meet his plane. On this occasion, a genuine and concerted attempt to arrest these war criminals would be more appropriate.

Before people get carried away this news is highly unlikely to be true. It is not necessary to have a refueling stop on a transatlantic flight to or from Israel. A glance at the schedules for El Al or Air Canada would quickly confirm this.

War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu was invited by the Polish Government which is virtually run by the Israeli army serving in that country. A civilized act would be to grab War Criminal Netanyahu the moment he landed and proceed to bring charges of Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing against him at Hague. But as the Polish politicians are totally corrupt, as are the others in Europe, all in there to line their own pockets and feather their own nests, the more possible is, that Poland will, if not already done so, select him for the next Nobel Peace Prize. This is one of the major reasons why Poland should be dismissed from the European Union. They are not playing by the rules of a civilized nation and instead work for the spread of terrorism by inviting War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, and before him yet another War Criminal, Ehud Barak, who visited the Auschwitz Museum For War on October 15, 2009. The Bible bogus state of Israel, is using Poland as a venue to purify their War Criminals and because of its utterly corrupt politicians they can play around with it the way they want.
