If Christmas songs fall foul of Labour's 'banter ban', Christmas carols ? with their 'offensive' assertions of the divinity of Christ that are deemed blasphemous by Islam ? are even more likely to, says Julian Mann.

Keir Starmer is preparing to tie Britain to the EU's Net Zero plans in a move that would impose radically stricter 'green' energy targets on homes and businesses, leading to further deindustrialisation and impoverishment.

(if you are a Shannonwatch planespotter)

What are the 8 Things to Remember if you are a Shannonwatch planespotter?

On the 6th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, documentary filmmaker Aoibheann O'Sullivan re-visited Shannon Airport, where she met up with Tim Hourigan, Conor Cregan and Ed Horgan to find out the 8 Things to Remember.

Watch the film here:

8 Things to Remember -If you are a Shannon Plane Spotter

Since early 2003, over a million US troops have passed through Shannon Airport on their way to active service in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Shannonwatch planespotters have been there from the beginning, documenting chartered troop carriers landing at Shannon.
While some planes have been clearly marked as US military aircraft, countless are unmarked charter flights that have been leased, re-leased and leased again in attempts to disguise their military function. Many of these have been directly implicated in the practice of ‘extraordinary rendition’.

Well done to the folks from Shannonwatch, were it not for their determined persistence so much of the shadowy facts about this airport would not have come to light.

Should be called ...'Holocaust watch'..

Just because Irish people dont have to smell the burning flesh, or god forbid , pull the triggers to kill the innocent people of Iraq dosent mean that we are not involved in a genocide and can turn our back on our responsibility to uphold the law rather than break it.

A fantastic video record of in-action by the 'Guardians of the Peace', the Govt and the airport security.Which all mounts to nothing less than them all being accomplice to the mass murder of innocent people.
Six years of genocide is acceptable to most Irish people today, the word god-forsaken comes to mind. As Blair and bush both admitted 'failures' upon their departure from office, our man at the helm, Bertie, said that ...'it would be a hostile act to remove facilities at shannon airport to the US'.....What nonsense, especially when you look at 1.3 million directly killed by this violence and another estimated 1 million died indirectly because of this war.
It is really amazing to think that these psychopaths called leaders can still function with no visible evidence that they bear any responsibility for genocide.
Cherie Blair did say that her two boys 'lost two nights sleep', when Tony was running round looking for his second resolution in the UN - which he never got- to legally invade Iraq.

Again, fantstic work on the film and on the ground, and a very important documented record of Irish complicity in Genocide, contradictoraly on the 85th anniversary of the ending of Nazi genocide which we all condemn without reservation.

This is a great video. Well done to all involved. Aside from the quality of the production it is good to be reminded of the valuable and too often thankless task that the Shannonwatch guys continue to do in Shannon that is usually under the radar. Thank you.

Aoibhinn,

excellent video.

It clearly exposes our complicity in the commisssion of internationally prohibited crimes against humanity. Active or passive participation by our Government which knows or ought to have known about the rendition of prisoners for interrogation, is support and encouragement for these crimes.
