Jump To Comment: 1If we stopped fighting you, if we tore down our security fence, if we dismantled our settlements, if we stopped killing Palestinians militants and stopped preventing Palestinian society from functioning normally then we would be leaving ourselves wide open for Palestinian invasion.
You Palestinians are firing rockets, sending suicide bombers and gunmen into Israeli territory to kill as many of us as possible so in response we have to be just as brutal.
This is a war after all.
Personally I can understand the Palestinian position, if I was Palestinian I would probably be fighting Israel.
But I am Israeli so I have to fight Palestinians or they will kill me.
Am I responsible for the creation of Israel in 1948? No.
The invasion of the West Bank in 1967? No.
Do I want peace? Yes.
But does that mean I will not be killed by the Palestinians given the chance? No.
Israelis and Palestinians will fight until we are both exhausted or one of us gives in.
We aren't going to give in.
