Is the end of 'non-crime hate incidents' in sight? The Opposition is tabling an amendment to scrap them. This is something we all need to get behind ? so please use the FSU's template to tell your MP to vote for it.

U.S. Troops Raid Headquarters of Iraq's Democratic, Secular Opposition

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Thursday February 21, 2008 16:14author by pat c Report this post to the editors

Yet again the US Occupation Forces have launched an attack on The Iraq Freedom Congress.

In another poor move; the occupying troops has made another attempt to eliminate the voice of freedom from Iraq by raiding the IFC headquarter in Baghdad on 12 February when they forced themselves in, verbally and physically assaulted the guards and stood them out in the rain for several hours. It is understood from the many previous incidents that these attempts are not to look for weapons or investigations regarding terrorist activities; but in fact they are to intimidate and eliminate any voice that objects the occupation and its puppets.

The occupying troops believe that carrying out such actions will further their cause and break the will of the people; however they always forget that such actions will only increase our determination and empower our will to advance our struggle to expedite the end of the occupation.

IFC declares that such poor actions will not tremble us or back us away from the struggle; but we will continue our pace until the final victory.

Here is a statement from the IFC on the Dictator Ahmadinejad's visit to Iraq.

The murder of women in Basra, assassinations of university professors, intellectuals and scientists, sectarian cleansing and attempts of sectarian groups to impose the federalism on the south of Iraq, are designed to impose the agenda of mullahs in Iraq.

Ahmadinejad's visit to Iraq is a clear message to the US administration in which it asserts the strong Iranian influence in Iraq; it sees itself as the alternative to the occupation without regards to the security and safety of the people.

Iraq Freedom Congress declares on behalf of the libertarian forces that those who receive Ahmadinejad in Iraq are not legitimate and do not represent the interests of the majority of Iraqis.

This visit to Iraq is no different than the visit of Bush , and the administrations and regimes that they represent are responsible for all the crimes that occurred on a daily basis against the Iraqis. The stability of Iraq and achieving safety comes by the expulsion of the occupation and ending the influence of the Republic of mullahs represented by Nejad in Iraq.
