Hang Him, hang Him Quick!

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | other press author Wednesday December 27, 2006 05:17author by budgie Report this post to the editors

The puppet judiciary of occupied Iraq today announced that Saddam Hussein would be hanged within 30 days. Saddam is presently being tried for the mass murder of Kurdish villagers but the judiciary insisted that he MUST be executed regardless of any other proceedings. This decision is a ‘just in time’ corporate-style decision – just in time for what the uninformed reader would ask? Just in time to save America from incrimination for supplying the chemical weapons and expertise required to kill the innocent Kurdish villagers – that is the REAL NEWS of the day!

"Just in time to save America from incrimination for supplying the chemical weapons and expertise required to kill the innocent Kurdish villagers – that is the REAL NEWS of the day!"

Excuse me if I am mistaken but did the anti-war movement not insist that Saddam did not have WMD?

author by researchpublication date Wed Dec 27, 2006 15:45author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Rumsfeld supplied Saddam with WMD to use against the Iranians and other preceived enemies of the U.S. -- they supplied the weapons, advisors and military instructors (expertise in other words) but its pointless trying to convice people -- google it yourself, 'truck loads' of info will verify the story.

I'm surprised that anyone who visits indypendent sites doesn't already know .. who did you say you represented?

Bush lied about WMD. Saddam did not have WMD.

Hang all that supplied Saddam with the chemicals to kill the Kurds. Hang all the ones who send beef to his army, Larry Goodman and Co. Hang the Saudi Princes, all 7000 of them who are worse bastards than Saddam ever was. Hang King Abdullah of Jordan and his bunch of torturers.

Most of all Hang the Israeli parasites that are the cuase of all this. Hang them for stealing land, human rights abuses and for being behind the present strategy in the Middle East.

By all means, go into a country, destroy it, turn it into a shit-hole where hundreds of thousands of innocent people are murdered, whitout a cause and hang it's presidend. So be it with America. Killthe parasites by the hundreds of thousands and hang their rotten president Bush. Hang Blair and his bunch of murderers and let the British people die by the hundreds of thousands. Justice and equality for all I say. And last but not least Israel: Dump that parasite and wipe it from the face of the earth.

"Hang Blair and his bunch of murderers and let the British people die by the hundreds of thousands. Justice and equality for all I say. And last but not least Israel: Dump that parasite and wipe it from the face of the earth."

How do you propose that British people die by the hundreds of thousands and that Israel is wiped off the map?

No one has the right to take the life of another, no court in the land should be entitled to confer a death penalty on anyone, no matter how heinous their crime. If we (and I say we as Ireland are indeed part of the coalition) are to simply kill all those that we oppose, then we are no better than them.

Saddam Hussein will become a martyr, that's all this sentence will achieve.

No doubt there will be several people close to the top of the present United States administration who will want to see Saddam Hussein executed as soon as possible - so that all evidence of the kind that could come "straight from the horse's mouth" in a court of law will be destroyed by the hangman: forever.

Under no circumstances (in my view) should the decent people of influence within international communities such as the United Nations go along with this ploy for damning evidence to be destroyed in this way.

Trying to cover over bad reasons with good ones (relating to "justice") is not a valid excuse.

Consider, for example, the "Under Cheney, Halliburton Helped Saddam Hussein Siphon Billions from UN Oil-for-Food Program" article at the following address:

In 1982 the United States provided billions in aid to Saddam Hussein for weapons to kill Iranians.

It seems that Donald Rumsfeld was very heavily involved, as was the late President Regan. Please see: http://www.bowlingforcolumbine.com/library/wonderful/ir...q.php

When will the other criminals involved in creating the present social chaos in Iraq, who are widely believed to have violated international law in numerous ways during the long build up over the years to this morning's execution, be brought before the courts of law I wonder?

Or, are those concerned, COMPLETELY above the law perhaps? - so that they can get clean away with the killing of thousands of entirely innocent people in Iraq since the illegal invasion in March 2003?

The CIA supplied Saddam Hussein with the addresses of known members of the Iraqi Communist Party in order to suppress the rise of that party, some years back: Saddam had the members rounded up and the rest you can guess. Similarly, Saddam had surpisingly solid intelligence on the placement of Iranian troop positions at the outset of the Iran-Iraq war. . . . . . During this war, he used chemical weapons. Neither Europe nor the US batted an eyelid. Odd, no? The understandable uproar over the appalling gassing of the Kurds came after the West had supplied Iraq with chemical weapons and the means to produce 'em. But he was our pal, back then. Blind eyes turned was the order of the day.
