Half Yearly Meeting

IMPERO meets again in the affable surroundings of The Strand Hotel, Omeath. Is it just a question of business as usual or will the meeting see some important new departures for this small but seminal organisation?

Notice of Meeting

A special meeting of IMPERO will take place in The Strand Hotel, Omeath, Co Louth on Saturday, 4 November 2006, commencing at approximately 2.00 p.m. You are invited to attend.

The meeting will be preceded by a plain lunch starting at 1.00 p.m. If you wish to partake in this lunch please let me know beforehand because the hotel only caters for occasional meals and, ideally, I should let them know before 2 November the exact number for the meal. You can contact me on 042 9371310 or 087 9739945. Bring a friend if you wish - you will be more than welcome to do so!

Sincerely

Sean Crudden
Secretary
IMPERO

Agenda

1. Read minutes of previous meeting

2. Submissions

· To An Comhairle Eolaiochta (09 May 2006)
· To Department of Health (re: Medical Practitioners Bill) (07 August 2006)
· To Foram Naisiunta Eacnamaioc agus Soisialta (15 October 2006)

3. Planning for the future

4. Finance

5. General Discussion

6. Any other business

N.B. the text of most of the submissions made by IMPERO over the past decade and a half or more are published in www.iol.ie/~impero/ which is a web-page called "SEQUENS Magazine." This is more-or-less the official web site of IMPERO. On-line computers are available in most libraries and in the County Hall, Dundalk. So - even if you have no on-line computer of your own - you could study some of the submissions in one of those places in preparation for the meeting on 4 November.
