Why is the Guardian still smearing Charlie Kirk as "far Right" even after he was murdered by what appears to be an 'anti-fascist' activist inflamed by the Left's hyperbolic rhetoric, asks Professor James Alexander.

Ireland West Tourism removes Galway Blazers Hunting Display after treat of protests by the Hunt Saboteurs.

The Association of Hunt Saboteurs contacted Ireland West tourism in Foster Street, Galway following numerous complaints from the general public concerning a Galway Blazers hunting display in its window.
This featured a large hunting picture and hunting attire and ‘Horse and Hound’ magazines promoting the so-called sport.
Following discussions on the cruelty of blood sports and possibility of a protest at its offices, Ireland West promptly removed the offending display. An assurance that any hunting promotion would not be displayed again was given along with an apology to those offended by the content.

We thank Ireland West tourism for their prompt closure on this issue.

Does this mean that Ireland West has been actively promoting participation in hunting as a tourist activity in the west of Ireland - perhaps to those affected by the ban in the UK? I can imagine this might be lucrative but is it part of their stated policy, does anybody know?

Poor old Ireland West Tourism, scared of offending people. This is exactly the same craven mentality that makes it impossible for progressive organisations to put on displays in public libraries, etc, because of fears that the Israeli government / American tourists / any random reactionary would be offended. The Hunt saboteurs should be ashamed of themselves. Another blow against open public discourse.
