SAS Soldier quits in disgust at American tactics

SAS soldier quits Army in disgust at 'illegal' American tactics in Iraq

This report is about a SAS solider who was serving for the imperialists in Iraq in the SAS and his conscience got the better of him. Thankfully.

This story comes as bad news and good news. Bad news because things are so bad in Iraq that a SAS soldier has decided to quit. It's not often you ever hear of anyone quitting the SAS for this reason, although maybe they do sometimes but we never get to hear about it. And the good news about this story is that it is so public and will serve to futher undermine the criminals in power that launched this war and it demonstrates to the public in a very good way how bad this war is and what a mess it is. I think a lot of people who would just sit on the fence over all this are likely to take notice when a soldier quits, especially a SAS one because most people know, these are the guys who get up to a lot of dirty tricks themselves.

Here's a few quotes from the article:

An SAS soldier has refused to fight in Iraq and has left the Army over the "illegal" tactics of United States troops and the policies of coalition forces.

After three months in Baghdad, Ben Griffin told his commander that he was no longer prepared to fight alongside American forces.

He said he had witnessed "dozens of illegal acts" by US troops, claiming they viewed all Iraqis as "untermenschen" - the Nazi term for races regarded as sub-human.

The decision marks the first time an SAS soldier has refused to go into combat and quit the Army on moral grounds.

was the opening / expansion of several new markets. One of which was the mercenary. THere are now more mercenaries in Afghanistan and Iraq than were present during their "hey day" in African wars in the 1960's to 1990's. Over the last three years, I can remember several ocassions when members of the British and French retired military crew, lamented whats happening - they have trained notorious and infamous groups of psychopathic killers. [That is exactly what elite forces are] & now those very same men [there are no women elite forces] are being offered jobs by corporations and individuals and for _much more money_. It has been suggested in the UK that former SAS members be barred from selling their services and skills to third party groups, but the suggestion hasn't got to law, and its unlikely it will. Even trained state murderers want a nest egg, the traditional routes of "writing a survival guide" or "insider military memoire" have dried up, and not even the Liberal Democrats can offer every exSAS lad a job in politics...

is that this is the logica\l outcome of following 'Free-Market'/Liberal Capitalist economic policies?

Does this mean that in the near future we can expect to see companies bidding for wars ('My company will do it for 56 Billion Euros cheaper than our nearest rivals') possible even a 'Market' in war-futures or genocidal-hedge-funds etc.
