Prize-winning Danish journalist asks whether Denmark will take part in coalition to invade Iran In one of his daily letters to Danish prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen and foreign minister Per Stig Møller, prize-winning journalist Bo Elkjær refers to a statement by a State Department official that the United States will conduct future wars through the deployment of ad-hoc coalitions of the willing, similar to that which invaded Iraq in March 2003, rather than relying on established institutions such as NATO or the United Nations to resolve conflicts. Jump To Comment: 11. The Irish Government have said on record in affidavits to the High Court that they are in it for the long haul -- their support for America's new wars doesn't stop at Osama, Afghanistan, or Iraq.
2. Iran has sponsored international terrorism before against western targets (Lockerbie bombing for example), there's no reason to believe that they can't find Shannon Warport on a map.
3. Security at that airport is still atrocious, and the Irish Government don't seem to care that their adventures with Bush raises the likelihood that Ireland will be attacked.
