Over 100 MI6 agents unmasked - including formerly Irish based ones

British security chiefs are reported to be hopping mad after an American based internet site published a list of over 100 of their active agents and their locations . Many are based in Africa , Eastern Europe , Iraq and Asia . British spooks are terrified the cover of their agents has been irrevocably blown and their intelligence contacts compromised ( one is even referred to simply as a "wanker" by occupation which would indicate someone is ticked off about something in dear old Blighty .. Some of the names have been based in Ireland . The most prominent on the list is former UK Liberal leader Paddy Ashdown , a "former" British Army officer . It seems he just switched to a plain clothes army career instead .

Although the British agents unmasked are spread throughout the world , at least 2 have operated in Ireland , one based in Dublin from 1986 to 1992 and known to have been a key member of the MI6 team which facilitated John Majors contacts with Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness . Another was based in the Saudi capital of Riyadh in 88 , Baghdad in 89 and then operated in Dublin in 1994 at the time of the Provisional IRAs ceasefire . British security chiefs are trying desperately to have the site pull the list and English newspapers ,although reporting the massive leak refuse to name it . British chiefs fear the lives of their operatives in hotspots such as Baghdad have been put at risk. Anyone who reckons this is true can check the site here

Following the Dublin Monaghan bombings the IRA in Dublin executed senior British intelligence agent and British ambassador Christopher Ewart Biggs in direct reprisal for the massacre , blaming British intelligence for the series of no warning car bombs that ripped through the towns . British spooks fear a similar fate could now befall more of their operatives in other trouble spots around the globe now theyve been unmasked .

This nice portrait of FRU members is also a charming outing. In the middle is Captain Margaret Walsham, the handler of Pat Finucanes murderer , Brian Nelso. The bearded guy besid her is David Moyles the handler of "Stakeknife" who the Brits had murder innocent Irish people and RUC alike

And speaking of Military Attaches, is Lt Col John M O'Sullivan of the US embassy still taking pictures of anti-war protestors? You may remember him from Shannon Airport, but of course he is not an US intelligence operative workig freely on Irish soil with the co-operation of the Irish government.......oh no!
