Preparations Have Begun For 2nd Videoactive Documentary Festival

It is planned to take place on the 11th, 12th - 13th November At Film Base, Cultivate and Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin.

The Videoactive Documentary Festival, now in its second year, is being co-hosted by the Cultivate Centre, Indymedia Ireland and Film Base. The festival will showcase a series of feature length cutting edge documentaries from around the world, the majority of which have not been screened in Ireland previously. The festival will also feature a selection of recently produced shorts, workshops and Q&A sessions. Is there any interest in showing some great documentaries from the past? I'm thinking about things like "Time of Furnaces" by Solanas, "Grin Without a Cat" by Marker or "Hearts and minds" by Peter Davis.

None of these get shown anywhere now.
