Truth about the healt care system in Cuba

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | other press author Sunday October 24, 2004 14:41author by cuba libre Report this post to the editors

One of the biggest lies hardline stalinists tell us is that Cuba has exellent health care system. This is nothing but a lie and propaganda.

You can watch these pictures taken by photographer Luis Alberto Pacheco Mendoz .

http://www.dn.se/DNet/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=1058&a=321408&previousRenderType=6

Photographs show the real condition of healt care system in Cuba. Old people living in terrible conditions, filth everywhere. Can anyone after seeing these pictures really say that Cuba has exellent health care system? The answer is no.

Still these stalinists who live in democratic western countries see Cuba as somekind of paradise. Lets not forget that current regime of Cuba has killed 70.000 of their own citizens for political reasons during their 45 years in power. This is 7 times more than dictator Augusto Pinochet killed in Chile.

Catholic churhc tried to give free medicine to some poor and sick Cubans who are living under oppression. Castros regime however forbid this because they say Cuba is great power in the area of health care. It is disgusting to see these people let their own people die for propaganda reasons.

Freedom to people of Cuba!

all probably true and worthy to note.

but saying a third world country's healthcare system is not upto the standards of the first world is nothing too shocking is it?

But let's ask the CIA how Cuba stands up to the US of A....

"So, question is - which healthcare system would you prefer? Cuba's or Nicaragua's? hmmmm?"

Looking at those pictures propably neither. I would rather stay sick home if option is lieing on filthy hospital bed covered with my own piss and shit.

However you completely missed my point, which was that these pictures indisputably proves all claims made by Cuban government and their stalinists puppets in west being are lies and propaganda. In reality Cuban "healt care" system is big failure, just like their political system is.

you're probably not from dublin then, the problem here is we actually don't even get beds here, look at any irish newspapers over the last few days.

I'm not in favour of the kind of government Castro runs, but still, I wouldn't run them into the ground without some proper evidence to back it up. I don't think a few photographs are adequate for this - if you saw a few photos of people shot in gang feuds in Limerick, would you say that Ireland is overrun with gangs and no one is safe?

By the way, is there actually such thing as a Stalinist any more?
