The polls were carried out in the following countries-
Canada, France, UK, Russia, Spain, Israel,
Japan, Australia, Mexico and South Korea.

The results signal 80% of the known universe favour Kerry over Bush (of course)

As such they don't account for everyone who lives in the world, and only a very small sample of approximately 10,000 adults who were asked a series of questions.
