EYE-WITNESS OF IRAQI OCCUPATION-SPEAKS TUE 8th JUNE 7PM WYNNS HOTEL

Come and hear a first hand account of the effects of the occupation and the resistance against it. Dr. Ibrahim Allawi, editor of the Baghdad newspaper, Al Ghad, will speak at a Public Meeting organised by the Irish Anti-War Movement on the 8th June at 7pm in Wynns Hotel,Middle Abbey St, Dublin.

Come and hear a first hand account of the effects of the occupation and the resistance against it. Dr. Allawi is the current editor of the Baghdad left wing weekly paper Al Ghad. Al Ghad newspaper is the leading newspaper in Baghdad against the occupation


Ibrahim was a left wing political activist for the past 55 years, he was in exile for the past 35 years from the Baath regime. He was sentenced to death in abscentia in the 70s by Saddam Regime.
Al Ghad newspaper is the leading newspaper in Baghdad against the
