Altynbayev also said the Central Asian state's troops, about 30-strong, had been ordered confined to its camp until tensions abated around the southern town of Kut, where they are deployed.
Norway is studying the option of pulling its troops from Iraq after ending its mission due to the worsening security situation, Ministry of Defense's Spokesman Kaare Helland-Olsen told KUNA on Wednesday. Norwegian Television Channel two quoted Foreign Minister Jan Peterson as saying that his country is thinking of concentrating on other world areas and not Iraq because "we intend to withdraw our troops from Iraq".

UN better get a mandate-it's either that or seal Iraq's borders. Military and Realpolitik will be stationed in Jordan, Saudi (possibly), and Turkey to prevent terroists either leaving or going into the country. I cannot see the US going it alone. Iraqnam.
