The 1st international Anti-Globalisation protest in Ireland, and the corporate media fear machine has already done most of the ground work needed to justify state violence. Irish police have been equipped with “non-lethal” weapons fro the first time in there history (been trained by the yanks no less!) despite the fact there has never even been a stone thrown at an Irish protest. 1/2 the Police force of Ireland will be on duty in Dublin on May 1st.
Irish protesters/public are already used to seeing Riot cops at demonstrations, something unheard of until just over 1 year ago, and now commonplace. The public has been desensitised to the prospect of violence against protesters, who have them selves been dehumanised in the process.
Resistance is fertile, join the carnival of HOPE
