Church leaders are too quick to condemn Tommy Robinson and the Unite the Kingdom march, says Chris Larkin. We don't know what Jesus would have made of our politics, but we can?t just assume he?d have been a Lib Dem voter.

Today at Good Friday Ploughshares and Mary Kelly case in Clare

category national | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Thursday July 24, 2003 15:15author by Joe Sheehan - Gluaiseacht Report this post to the editors

Report on the court proceedings to date, I am not at the court though have been given reports. Those present will flesh out details later.

They are now on their lunch break.

Judge Mangan has decided in his infinite wisdom that testimony for both cases overlaps and is of a similar vein he will hear evidence for both at once and then decide on verdicts.

Ed Horgan, Nuria Mustafa and Tim Hourigan have finished testifying, which is reported to have been very comprehensive and hard hitting. Judge Mangan kept his head in his hands during all this testimony only raising it when the prosecution was questioning.

Mary Kelly is to testify after lunch
