category clare | environment | event notice author Friday March 04, 2016 16:01author by Irish Seed Savers - Irish Seed Savers Associationauthor email info at irishseedsavers dot ieauthor phone 061 921856 / 921866 Report this post to the editors

Irish Seed Savers - Sunday 6th March 12pm - 4pm

Every year at Seed Savers we always acknowledge the coming season by hosting our Seed Share day. This is a big event for us and everyone is invited, if you have any spare seeds bring them along too for everyone to share. It doesn’t matter what types of seeds they are, you may arrive with some spare lettuce seed but end up going home with some rare Emerald Apple Tomato seeds from Russia.

Don’t be surprised if you end up going home with more seeds than when you arrived. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a walk through our twenty acres of Organic Seed Gardens, Heritage Orchards and Native Woodland trails. On the day our cafe will be open and our Cob Pizza Oven will be fired up (children love picking out their toppings for freshly made pizza) Our friendly staff will be on-hand to help you with any questions. Whether it’s signing up to become a supporter to avail of your free seeds or a query on your garden. This year our special guest speaker will be from the East Clare Community Co-Op giving a talk about their community garden and all the great work they do. FREE Entry for Supporters. FREE Entry for Children General Admission €4
