Like never before the people of this community and this country need a socialist republican movement to challenge the rich and powerful...Maybe, but the rest of us are sick to the ears of obscure and/or criminal groups likening themselves to the 1916 patriots and invoking their name. Likewise that 1981 crew had starved themselves had feck all to do with eirigi.
Tired what are you talking about ????????

Maybe you should do some reading try this to start with
From Socialism Alone Can the Salvation of Ireland Come
Well done to eirigi organisers of Saturdays vigil.
It was great to see this monumental Irish historical event honoured in such a dignified fashion.
The fact that republicans from the locality and afar attended to the support of the community(as proven by the support from horn blowing passing cars)made this a worthwhile event.
Former republican journeymen/women would probably prefare if we held our remembrance and reflective events in silence and behind closed doors to hide the shame of traitors.
Looking forward to next year already.
