Trust in the BBC has been collapsing for years. For many, it finally died during Covid when the national broadcaster took on the role of chief cheerleader for the lockdowns, no dissent allowed. A reckoning is long overdue.

It's been a very long time since the BBC even pretended to be impartial on climate change, says Chris Morrison. The truth is, decades of crying 'Fire!' in the climate theatre have left the BBC with net zero credibility.

COP30 is Trump's Eisenhower moment, says Dr Tilak Doshi. Just as Eisenhower's Suez intervention ended Europe's pretensions to empire, Trump's energy realism is ending Brussels's grandiloquent claims to climate leadership.

The Republican Network for Unity will be holding a protest on the 3rd and again (on the 13th of September, to be confirmed) at 1pm in Dublin to highlight the ongoing situation in Magheberry Gaol.

As it stands, republican prisoners are still engaged in a “Dirty Protest” because of the Prison Service and Stormont Minister, David Ford, refusing to implement last Augusts agreement that would have led to the end of degrading-stripsearches. Please come along and show your support for the POW's!

Well done to the RNU and all Irish citizens who are supporting our POWs in enemy consentration camps.  Buíochas le Dia, Ireland still has patriots, who have not been scared off or bought off by scams like the GFA.  Victory to the POWs.

POWs??? Come on. How can you describe them as POWs? Let's not glorify their actions. Of course I am for humane treatment of prisoners but to describe them as POWs, FFS!

The vast majority of people on this island agree on how things should proceed, however a small group of "purists" won't move on.
