Cork Shelltosea, Cork Harbour Action Group and the Workers Solidarity Movement are calling on people to gather at City Hall, Cork at 7.30 AM on Weds. 6th July, moving to the nearby Shell depot (Centre Park Road) where a strong message will be delivered to notorious corporate bullies Shell.

Peoples Global Action have called for Weds. July 6th to be a Global Day of Action- a day of
decentralised actions against the G8, in villages, towns and cities world-wide:

Make them listen, get to City Hall on Wednesday morning, spread the word.

An application will be made to the High Court today for leave to challenge a decision by the Minister for the Environment, Dick Roche, to clear the way for construction of the M3 motorway.

A campaigner against the motorway will seek to test the validity of the Minister's directions under the National Monuments Act in relation to 38 archaeological sites.
